Hello!

Time to introduce myself, who I am and what my values as a coach are – but first welcome to the 360coaching page, my name is Caroline and my goal is to help anyone improve their health and fitness to enable them to live the life they want.

My own journey to becoming a PT started as a bit of fun and a lockdown hobby, but once I started training some friends and helping them become healthier and fitter in a sustainable way, I realised this was where I wanted my career path to go.

I’ve worked as a nurse for many years, mostly in community as a District Nurse and I have studied to PhD level as I am a true believer in evidence based practice – in all realms of life.

Yet, while the NHS does so many amazing things, what it doesn’t;t do very well is work proactively to solve problems before they lead to bigger problems, and I want to help people achieve happy, healthy, consistent fitness that allows you to go on whatever adventures you want – from raving all night to being active with the kids to climbing your first Munro to lifting your own weight in deadlifts to living a long, healthy and active life.

A recent study reported that the age of people living with one chronic disease or more (such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure) has decreased, and the number of conditions people are living with is rising at an alarming rate – that means more and more younger people are suffering with multiple illnesses at once usually found in older people – and mainly because of unhealthy and sedentary lifestyles, and certainly not helped by 2 years of lockdown.

But while the answer to how to tackle these issues is simple, having to change your lifestyle and sustain any change may require help and support.
